What happens on a Sunday?
We worship God together, hear His Word taught, and care for one another, gathering with a holy regard for God.
Who leads the church?
Hope Alive is led by Pastor Joseph Arreola, with a leadership team serving alongside him. If you have a question on Sunday, any of them will be glad to talk — or write to hopealivechurchoc@gmail.com any time.
I am new: where do I start?
Just come on Sunday at 4:30 PM. If you would rather talk first, send a message through the contact form below and tell us a little about yourself. And if Sunday feels like a big first step, join The BOOK OF online some Monday or Tuesday night, no preparation needed.

The BOOK OF
Reading the whole Bible, together, one book at a time.
Six years in, and still going. The BOOK OF began in Genesis, and the church has been reading its way through Scripture ever since, learning, together, how to read the Bible and understand it properly.
Each session is thirty minutes on Google Meet, led by Pastor Joseph. We read the passage aloud on screen, notice what it actually says, and ask questions as we go. You do not need to read ahead, and you do not need to have all the answers. Questions are the point.
We’re in the book of Hebrews.

Prayer & Giving
We are here for you.
Request prayer
Hurting, worried, thankful, or just need someone to stand with you? Tell us as much or as little as you like. Your request goes to the church by email, and someone will pray with you.
- This week, pray forthe brethren in our church, for their families, their health, and their walk with God, that each one would be strengthened and encouraged.
- Evangelism,that we would share the gospel boldly, and that hearts would be open to hear and receive it.
- Journey, our youth ministry.
- Worship Night, December 4 : that it would be a night of real encounter and rest.
Give
Giving is part of worship, a cheerful, generous response to all God has given us. Give securely online through Church Center, once or on a recurring basis, or in person during the giving portion of the Sunday service.

Worship on Sunday is praise and worship together, songs the church knows and sings as one voice. If a song from Sunday is still on your heart during the week, ask us for the title and we will point you to it.
